About David Shorenstein

David Shorenstein is a real estate industry professional living and working out of New York, New York as the Principal at Hildreth Advisors, where he’s been since 2018.

For the past 15 years, David has been developing and growing his career in real estate. After graduating with his degree in finance, David began looking for a sector of the finance world that would allow him to work with more tangible assets. He chose real estate because, unlike traditional finance, which only involves numbers on a screen, real estate gives you a chance to work with actual, tangible investments. At Hildreth Advisors, his work includes real estate investing, brokerage, and helping people manage their real estate-based assets.

Before his current role as Principal for Hildreth Advisors, David Shorenstein worked on developing his entrepreneurial skills. He owned and operated his own real estate business out of the Greater New York City Area for more than 13 years.

Alongside his work in real estate, David likes to focus his time on helping others, especially those who need a hand. As he grew his career and began generating more substantial profits, David soon found that he had more money to donate and more time to start making donations. He has been involved in helping to fund both Madison Square Park and Chelsea Waterside Plaza.

As a professional in New York City, one of the organizations David feels most strongly about is Young Jewish Professionals. The not-for-profit group works across the nation, with a chapter in New York City, to help identify, educate, and empower young Jewish innovators and forward-thinkers.

As a businessman himself, David Shorenstein wants to be an active part of the group’s mission of “Mentoring, educating, and activating the new generation of Jewish business leaders.” At Young Jewish Professionals, they offer a representation of multiple industries, including finance, entrepreneurship, fashion, media/tech, and real estate, to help provide the mentorship necessary for these young professionals to succeed.

David attended college-preparatory school at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, New York. After graduating, he continued his education by attending the New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business. David attended the school from 1999 to 2003 when he graduated, having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance. It was then that he entered the world of finance and began developing and growing his career.
